Ethan is still happy but his cold is driving me mad! That and lack of sleep does not help my anxiety levels! Ethan is very snotty so lots of saline still. Really hope it is over with quickly and it does not go to his chest. My step daughter woke me up last night after 2 hours sleep as she had a fever and was dizzy. She another day of school still had a fever all day and a headache. She says she is fine now but still looks pale so we will see. That was another night of no real sleep. Kids got to love them eh!
I can not remember every writing about the wonderful we have met on this journey. Both in real life and online. I will tell you about a few true wonders and leave the rest for another day.
Back when Ethan was still a tiny tiny dot I had popped into a charity shop to look for angels. I wanted to buy one for a friends baby before her operation and couldnt find them anywhere. I spoke to the shop assistant and told her about why I looking for the Angel and about Ethan. The Woman - Annette told me she has a son who had a heart attack very young and had to have heart opertions, all through this time someone gave her a "medal" of a saint which she kept with her for strength. She gave this to me with tears in her eyes. I have kept it with me in my purse this whole time. I have wanted to pass on it but havent felt strong enough. I will do though - when I feel we are out of the woods. I also have to go back into the shop to tell the lady the rest of Ethans story.
Since then Angels have been a big thing for me that and crystals. I try to give them to people I feel need them at the time - so many parents out there have one of our Angels now or crystals. I hope it gives them strength.
I am sure I have written about Charlotte before but I will now anyway.
At Royal London in December 2010 when I was very low, I didnt have anywhere to sleep. I was very tired and Ethan was seriously ill. I lady called Charlotte heard me talking about all this and gave up her room in the Sick childrens trust so I could rest my head - have a bath and wash clothes. I have never been so thankful in all my life. A truly kind person - geniune to the core and wonderful. It gives you faith in the human race.
Then there is Irene and her Angelina. Someone who has a big heart, the loveliest of natures and the most wonderful mother to the most wonderful and brave little girl.
I am so so tired will tell all about people we have met tomorrow.
