Thank You
This is just a little note to say publically THANK YOU.
Thank You to the Doctors and Nurses and Southend Hospital. They have supported Ethan and I many times over the years and I am so thankful for the services that Southend offers.
So Thank you Dr A. Khan - Ethan's consultant at Southend.
Thank you PCN team including Kelly Holmes, Lisa, Catherine and Sharon for the support that you offered Ethan and I both and the many chats we shared.
Thank you to the portage workers - Michelle Baldwin.
Thank You to the staff at The Lighthouse in Southend, The physio team, Little fishes and the Childrens outpatients.
Thank you to Neptune Ward at Southend especially to nurse Lucy who looked after Ethan the very last time he was there.
Thank you GOSH for everything that you have done for Ethan.
Thank you Royal London, St Georges, St Mary's and Luton and Dunstable hospital.
Thank you to Sick Children's trust for your hospitiality both at Royal London and GOSH. With out you parents of very sick children would have no where to stay when their children are in hospital. Thank you to Ronald Mcdonald (St Georges hospital) houses for the same reason. Thank you to COSMIC (Children of St Mary's Intensive Care) for the support you gave to myself when Ethan was in hospital, by putting me in a nearby hotel so I could be with him and for funding the equipment at St Mary's PICU.
Thank you to the staff at Addenbrookes PICU, the doctors are wonderful - every single one of you. Special thank you to Naz for supporting Ethan even after he had left PICU. Thank you Nicola for just simply chatting to me. Thank you to the wonderful nurses who went above the call of duty to look after Ethan and all of the children on PICU. Thank you to Sarah the play specialist who took Ben under wing. Thank you to the school teachers for including Ben before I was able to enrole him in a school. Thank you to the family support team for everything that you do.
Thank you to EACH children's hospice for taking such good care of Ethan for a few weeks this summer. In your care Ethan got his "glow" back and was very much back to his normal self by the end of his stay. Thank you for going the extra mile. Thank you to the True colours team, Harry and Debbie to name just two for going above the call of duty. Your care of Ethan both before he passed away and after I will never forget.
Thank you to Ali from the family support team at EACH for helping me arrange the funeral and supporting me during the aftermath of Ethan's passing. Thank you for also helping me arrange the celebration memorial event in Ethan's name.
