Went to see the consultant today and she said we could increase his pulmicort inhaler to two puffs twice a day if need be and to bring him in if he is getting tired from working too hard of it effects his SATS. She did initially say he would need to be checked if his work of breathing got noticeably harder, and I pointed out that I felt it hard, but he was still very happy and pulling up his legs to play etc. She also changed some of his vitamens dose (to a lower amount) as his bloods were good. His bone profile was also good and his alkaline phosphate had reduced which is great news.
He now weighs............ 7.02 kgs or 15lb 7oz which is fantastic and has grown 2cm in 2 weeks! It is also another milestone in so many ways, first because back in April at GOSH we were told that Ethan needed to be double his size in 6 months time in order to be able to survive. Well he has managed to double his size from back then in 9 months but hey the fact is he did it! Also as off tomorrow it will be longest period that Ethan has not needed a hospital admission, 7 weeks! So fingers crossed positive thinking and everything else please!
Ethan has found his voice and can shout! Bless him he makes me laugh and smile every day!
He is still going through changes of clothes each day, and the amount of nappies is silly! But he is putting on weight!
