I think of blond curly curly hair. He would touch his hair when he was tired. People would stop in the street to comment on his hair.
I think of huge smiles. He had such an engaging smile and look about him, when he smiled his eyes just lit up. It reminded me of my Grandad, Ethans Great Grandfather.
The way he could look at you and you knew what he wanted, usually a song.
How he kept defeating the odds, he kept fighting on never giving up. I was sure he was likely to of had some brain damage after he came out of hospital this time, but he surprised us all by trying to sign "more". Something he had not been doing before. Normally more singing.
He had great determination. He went from not being able to move his legs after his PICU stay to sitting up then crawling and then to standing. I know if he had more time he would have walked again too.
I think of his cuddles, he loved cuddling people and he would wrap his arms around your neck.
When I think of Ethan I think that he is a part of me and always will be.

I have arranged the celebration of life charity event for one month after Ethan's 4th Birthday. This was a birthday that I was sure we would see, Ethan may not be with us but he is in my heart.
The event will take place 23rd November 2013 at Cambridge united Football ground and will start from 6.30pm with childrens entertainment and bands as well some football players.
It is a ticketed event in aid of EACH hospice who went above and beyond to look after Ethan both while he was recovering and after he passed away.
