Today I got to Ethan late morning after running around making lots of phone calls about the new house. Still loads of phone calls still to make but that will have to be another day!
Ethan was good, he slept quite a bit but he was very tired from the day before I guess. He did seem upset and was crying every now and then despite being in my arms, I am wondering if he is feeling the effects of his last set of injections which were given 3 days ago or so.
He certainly seemed very huffy, and his head bobbed when he breathed. I did speak to the nurse about this but she felt that Ethan does that from time to time.
I did not bath him as I felt he had been pulled about enough (he had to have a new NG in and a new set of nasal prongs and he hates them being changed). His two uncles came to see him as did his special Nanny who we all love very much.
Ethan is now on 8 hours of Ng feeds which is progress, though as he was unsettled the nurse did say as we left (he was asleep when we left) that if he kept being upset they would stop the feed to make sure it was not the Ng feeds that was upsetting him.
With elder son away at his dads most of tomorrow will be spent at the house I guess. Think will spend morning at house and afternoon with Ethan but may have to do it other way round.
I am not liking this, wish I could split myself into three to able to do everything at once! I need to be at the house, I need to go shopping for things for the house and I need to be at the hospital!
