Ethan has perfected crawling down to fine fast art, and makes attempts to escape the living room at least 20 times a day. Time for a stair gate I think! He is also trying to pull himself up to stand more and more often. When you pick him up and then go to put him down he will put his legs down as if to say "no I will walk". He strides across the floor holding my hand, still wobbly but you can see the pride in his face! He has also started making a new sound, a Rararara babababba noise, a welcome change from his normal high pitched screech type noise he normally makes and also very very encourging for me to hear.
He has had his second dose of synagis RSV vaccine today, he hated it and screamed with real tears but was soon consolled by me singing his favorite nursery rhymes.
I had my Flu shot on Monday and for the pleasure I now have a bright red arm, I have had an itchy reaction to it, but at least I was not very very ill like I was last year with it. Ethan is getting his jab on Friday morning.
For the first time in many many many years I am going out on the town with my friends on Saturday night and in fact for the next few weeks coming! I really do need a break and will enjoy letting my hair down, but will enjoy coming back to my boys afterwards as well.
