He was a lot more vocal today and has much of his upper body strength back, although he is still wobbly when sitting up and he still gets tired easily and so needs to lean back sometimes.
He did move his legs slightly but only to extend them, most of the time he doesnt move them at all.
I noticed his nail beds on his fingers and toes were a mauve colour today, and his hands were a dark pink, with his feet looking quite blue. He wasnt working very hard breathing wise though although at times it was audiable breathing. His lips change from dark pink to purple and back again all the time and when I did check his SATS they were high 60's though he just needed his oxygen turning up.
He is on anything from 2 litre to 4 litres and one point over night when they checked his SATS they were 98% and so they turned down the oxygen from 4 litres to 3.
Ethan is moving into the hospice at Milton on Monday and so tomorrow is last day on PICU, ever. I am quite sad in a way as it has been our life for the past 8 weeks but Milton looks lovely and more home like.
The plan is still to get Ethan home, we dont know how much time he has and so I just want to keep him smiling for as long as possible.
