Its been a long time since I last updated!
Ethan was totally oxygen free as of August 2012, during the day and night!
He became more and more interested in playing with toys as opposed to just throwing them.
He started nursery in September 2012 which he loved and in January 2013 he started a special needs school where he still attends three days a week.
He still is not speaking or eating but he is making mummmm and nannnnn sounds and singing, a lot! He hums the tune to a wide range of songs and generally song is the way he communicates!
He started to walk in Feb. 2013 which was a shock and a delight! It still surprises me when I see him toddling about!
He has been given another diagnosis of Epilepsy after three separate episodes, one I witnessed and managed to record. He has already had an eeg done in September last year which came back normal but he has been started on medication.
So that to add to a long list : Epilepsy, Global deveoplment delay, Autium and of course chronic lung disease and short bowel syndrome.
He is a delight and a joy and always has a smile on his face and what a lot of curls!
