Well in a few minutes it will be 23/10/2011 and Ethan will be turning 2! Words can not express how proud I am. This time last year I had no idea what was going to happen. Other then the bleeding I was suffering I had no idea that Ethan was about to make such a dramatic appearance. I had no clue that my life was going to change, that hospitals will become routine and that I would see a miracle happen, over and over again.
Today we took Ethan over to see his grandmother and his little cousin who is in fact 5 weeks younger then him, but is of course bigger and more advanced then Ethan. Ethans cousin kept coming over to Ethan and saying "baby" which was very sweet and cute. It was lovely to see them together. Ethan was crawling after him, and to my complete shock and amazement when I stood Ethan up and held his hand he took a few wobbly steps!
Ethan has never done that before without a lot of help from me (helping him shift his weight from one foot to the next) and it takes a lot of concentration from him. Tonight he did it seemingly without a thought! I was smiling from ear to ear!
